Pro-MMA Fighter Dakota Ditches Will Be “Vicious” For Her Next Fight

Published:

Exclusive: TME News had the privilege of interviewing Dakota Ditcheva, a UK-based MMA fighter, ahead of her upcoming bout this Thursday in SanAntonio, Texas, against American fighter Lisa Mauldin. Despite being an undefeated MMA star competing in a $1 million tournament, Ditcheva’s ultimate aspiration is to headline at Manchester City’s stadium. Last December, the 25-year-old secured a $100,000 prize when she defeated #ValentinaScatizzi to claim the title of PFL’s inaugural European flyweight champion. In 2024, she is set to test her skills against the best 125lb fighters in MMA.

Ditcheva’s journey begins at PFL 1 on April 4, where she will face Lisa Mauldin, with potential future matchups against former Ronda Rousey opponent Liz Carmouche and top contender Talia Santos. The eventual winner of PFL’s inaugural flyweight tournament will earn a $1 million prize, echoing the success of Brendan Loughnane in 2022. While Ditcheva is thrilled about the prospect of becoming a millionaire, her true dream extends beyond monetary rewards. Regardless of her opponent, she envisions a packed stadium filled with fellow Mancunian #fighters. With a world championship belt in hand, she prioritizes showcasing Manchester talent on the big stage
