Travis Scott is facing a new lawsuit after a man claims a scuffle with the rapper’s security team left him permanently injured. The plaintiff, Omar Majdi Muhanna, alleges that on August 17, 2024, he was assaulted by a security guard from We All We Got Personal Security. Scott had hired this firm for his performance at Fanatics Fest NYC 2024, but the incident reportedly occurred at a different venue. Muhanna contends he was attacked “without cause, provocation, or justification” and is now seeking unspecified damages for assault and battery.

Scott’s attorneys have dismissed the lawsuit, noting that the rapper was not present during the alleged incident. In comments to TMZ, they described the suit as “bogus” and “frivolous,” while a spokesperson emphasized that Scott did nothing wrong other than hire a security company.
In a separate incident earlier this month, Scott also made headlines after being aggressively pulled aside by a security guard at a Lakers vs. Clippers game when his lack of a proper credential was noticed.
