Texas naturally has a diverse sort of weather which ranges from arid in the west to subtropical in the east. The huge permitter of the state creates various weather patterns based on northern part, western part, easter part, southern part and costal regions. Texas has plains in the north which exhibit an arid climate with annual precipitation of 18” to 20”. The Northern Panhandle is one of the coldest areas in Texas receiving most of the snow which amounts to 25” to 30”. Winters are really cold with summers characterised by clear skies.

The western and west central region is made of deserts and lone mountain range with arid and temperate climate patterns. Summer days can be dry with rest of year having clear skies. Central Texas has hills and river and ranges from semi-arid in the western part to sub-tropical in the rest. Summers are hot and humid while the winter are comparatively mild. Areas covered by Coniferous Trees receive more rains than the ones covered with deciduous trees. The eastern part of Texas lies in the humid subtropical and receives most of the rain in the state. April, May, and June are usually the rainiest while near coast part are cloudy mostly. Thunderstorm Hurricanes and tornadoes are common in this part. Summer is hot and humid in eastern part but coastal part is relatively cooler.South Texas weather pattern is similar to that in Northern Plains. Summers are usually hot and dry while snowfall is rare. Rain is abundant is coastal region than ranch kind of areas which have semi-arid climate. The hottest ever temperature in Texas was 120 Fahrenheit while the coldest one was -23 Fahrenheit.
