Larry Wade, a former track and field athlete specializing in the 110 meters hurdles, holds a personal best of 13.01 seconds, achieved in Lausanne in July 1999, placing him as the seventh fastest in the event’s history. Following his success, Wade was inducted into the Texas A&M University Hall of Fame for his NCAA National Championship wins in the 55 and 110 hurdles. Transitioning to boxing, he has become a prominent strength and conditioning coach, securing 14 World Titles and working with notable professionals like ShawnPorter, Badou Jack, and CalebPlant, alongside YouTube sensations JakePaul and Olajide Olatunji.
Additionally, Wade contributes as a sports commentator for networks such as ESPN and Fox Sports. In recognition of his contributions, the #CityofLasVegas proclaimed December 15 as Larry Wade Day in Nevada.
